DESCRIPTION:Shaila Catherine and Venerable U Jagara will be teaching a month long retreat from March 1-31 at the Forest Refuge of the Insight Meditation Society in Barre\, MA. \nFor details visit www.dharma.org. \nPlease note that this month long retreat is organized to support personal meditation practice and assumes a high degree of self-reliance. The theme for the dhamma teachings is the Gradual Path of practice. It is not organized as a group jhana retreat\, so daily systematic jhana instructions are not included in the program. Individual guidance will be provided through two interviews per week\, as is the custom at the Forest Refuge. \nIf you are specifically seeking a concentration and jhana oriented program with Shaila\, please read my FAQ page on Concentration and Jhana Training.
