A day of meditation with Shaila Catherine.

This day-long program will nurture the development of mindfulness, bare attention, clarity, and full awareness in all activities. We will examine classic Buddhist teachings for cultivating mindfulness and liberating awareness, and consider contemporary approaches to enhancing attention skills and bringing mindfulness meet the everyday experiences of life.

The program will include sitting and walking meditation, instructions, and opportunities for individual meetings with the teacher. This practice day is appropriate for new and experienced meditators, drop-in participants, and dedicated Walking the Path members.

There will be a pot-luck community meal at 12:30; please bring a food dish to share.

The floor is not carpeted. Bring a mat or cushion if you want to sit on the floor. Chairs are provided.
