Invincible Presence: A day of meditation with Shaila Catherine.

This day-long program will cultivate the capacity to be present in the here and now. Mindfulness meditation techniques enable us to let go of the past, and be free from deluded fantasies for the future. The teachings are inspired by an instruction in the Majjhima Nikaya (M. 131-134) that encourages profound insight through present moment awareness.

The program will include sitting and walking meditation, instructions, and opportunities for individual meetings with the teacher. This practice day is appropriate for new and experienced meditators.

There will be a pot-luck community meal at 12:30; please bring a food dish to share.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME. Chairs are provided. Bring a cushion if you prefer to sit on the floor.
