On July 18 IMSB held a pot-luck picnic in Sylvan Park in Mountain View to give sangha members an opportunity to socialize and meet new people prior to the regular Tuesday meditation. About 20 people attended the event and enjoyed a variety of food and good conversation. Attendees were grateful for the opportunity to deepen their relationships with other sangha members.
We will be planning one social event per quarter in the coming year. Our next social event is a tour of Buddhist art at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco on Friday, October 20. Please see our event calendar for more information.
